Composed and Captured in Turkey

When Evert and I joined the Dutch team for an International Photography Competition in north-central Turkey, I never dreamed I'd be writing fiction about what happened there.

Hers develops into the better photograph, though I saw it first.

Nor would I imagine that I'd retain a grudge for so long, a grudge I would work out in my imagination, not just in the story, but in the story within the story:

Eleni, looking through her viewfinder, takes a misstep and pitches over to the lake below.

It turns out that Villain Era online magazine is seeking stories like mine, stories about revenge and those who need to get their comeuppance. Read the whole story free, COMPOSE AND CAPTURE,  and feel vindicated against this bully. You may want to subscribe to Villain Era if you too have a mean bone lurking in your body. It turns out that a lot can be worked out of your psyche, and a lot of truth told, by writing something that isn't true: fiction.

Spoiler: Some threats are worse than death.
